All S.steel is nearly 100% anti-magnetic, so are the parts in nearly every watch made on this planet made from anti-magnetic materials. To temporally magnetise a watch it must come into contact with quite strong magnetic field.Like put directly on a large speaker magnet, and when watches become magnetised. They will run very very erratic speed up by minutes and more or even come to a complete stop. But its quite a simple task to de-magnetise a watch most good high street watchmakers could easily do it.
