The photo below with the two-tone GMT should be the box for a watch sold in the USA. Around 1983/1984, the same box was changed, the difference being the leather grain patter was smaller on this box. The other photo below with the stainless 16750 GMT, with the black bezel insert, is the second generation box with the smaller leather grain pattern. Since your watch is on the cusp of when they changed boxes, either could be considered correct.
