Firstly when a grey dealer buys a rolex and then sell it to you , usually for a better price, they are not allowed to give the rolex warranty, so they give you there own dealer warranty.

ALL MECHANICAL watches/ cars etc etc all need servicing and repairs after time due to wear and tear. Its a fact of life with specialist products. If there was a liftetime warranty you woudl get every tom dick and harry claiming warranty work for absolutely anything and everything they could.
