All things considered resale may favor the Sub by a tad but certainly not enough for it to be a consideration for most people. The GMT is very, very popular. You won't get stuck with it, that's for sure.

It's easy enough to check this for yourself. Just research the for sale offerings here and you will see what kind of discounts are offered on these two models. I think you will find they are pretty close (The GMT retails for $100 less than the SubC, btw). It's probably best to look at prices for new since condition doesn't become part of the equation. I think the relative values in the used market are probably similar to new.

Some will say forget about resale; get the watch you want. But I understand that perhaps you may buy and sell watches or consider resale value in justifying the purchase. But this is not a problem with either of these watches really. Both the Sub and GMT can find a home fairly easy if you need to get it out of your inventory.
