Wow, a few of the things you mention make me tick as well. Is it a Bowmore? Sweeeeet, very sweet.
I don’t like Cognac, I’m more of a Armagnac man. I had to give up pistol shooting because of a minor heart condition (but enough to break concentration). We are very spoilt for beers here, one of the Trappist monasteries (La Trappe) is in the Netherlands, and that’s the kind of beer I really like. I like the ‘double’, the dark coloured variety. Because of ever rising taxes on alcohol and tobacco, having a good smoke and a really fine Malt is becoming ever more expensive in The Netherlands.
Sigh. But what’s new?
