Either way you can't go wrong. The Daytona may be a little more difficult to locate, but worth the hunt if you find one. I have the GMT IIc and it is a spectacular watch. Like the previous post have indicated, try them both on to determine which one grabs you and won't let go. Also consider if you require the chrono function or the date function and 24 hour hand.
