We LOVE the “swap-meet” concept, as I also am about to list things for the first time. (Tuxedo DJ, Batman, NIB Skydweller).
My wife (Shetona) had a few awesome ideas. Consider a place that may have some security, such as, at a local store?
I have some connections at Tourneau or Shreve, and might be able to talk them into allowing an after-hours event. (We could each chip in $20, and pay the security guard to remain at the door, allowing entrance only to people who say the “TRF“ password!)
We can walk up the street afterwards for dinner, if desired.
To play this right, let’s give ourselves enough time.
How does October 9th, 23rd, or 30th sound?
In the meanwhile, I’ll contact the stores and check out their interest. (allowing “swap-talk” may have both pros and cons, right?)
