I shipped a Rolex 2 weeks ago from the UPS store with $5000 in insurance. I had the store provide a "pack and ship guarantee" which they said would make a potential claim much easier. The insurance cost over $100. I clearly stated the package contained a watch. As a side note, the UPS store owner told me that $5000 insured was the low threshold to have the item stored in a lock box in the truck and a locked cage at any distribution warehouses.
