Years ago, in the Navy the daily dives were at around 20 m. These were done on Subs, Dates and ND.

During training or in “operations”, 40 m were also common. Diving in barrel training, in Neustandt in Germany the 33 m total height was compulsory.

Nowadays, the 5-20 m range is also a daily reach, especially or rather strictly during summer period when I underwater hunting fish and octopus. In this range I have used all my watches, DJ, AK Subs and GMT’s, even when the old models were proof only for 50 m. Never had a leak or other problem, besides the scratches from rocks or the fishing equipment.

Though I would love some sub-water photos or videos, I never owned such a camera, and when I get into the water, I prefer my gun instead.

The reasons are obvious !!!!!
