I would stick with historical references that have stood the test of time. Those would include the 000,005,024,025,233,372 and the list goes on. Several of our Trusted Sellers have extensive lists of Panerai models listed on their websites. DavidSW and OCRolex Guy have some nice models to choose from. Panerai is a fun brand but it is not a brand that holds value across the board. Specific models do ok but other not so much and some are not tradeable unless it is a give away.
