Having box and papers proves absolutely nothing, especially when these items can be purchased from ebay.

A police report is the most important thing. This can be used for insurance purposes, and this is what Rolex will require before they put it in their database.

If this happened over 2 years ago, really not sure what you will be able to do. Kind of doubt the police can help you with this. You can always call them, but I kind of doubt it.
