Does a Bel Canto as a sonnerie watch really seem like a Czapek homage? Interesting opinion.

Congratulations to all who are receiving a Phoenix!

Just out of curiosity, how close is volcano orange to rosso dino?

Apologies, was referring to H. Moser / CW Jade Dragon. We already know about the CW 12 as a Czapek hommage. Love to see CW expand on the C1 Bel Canto chimer into other like-designs, just as many of us want Max B's M.A.D.1 brand to expand to other designs along that style of mechanical timekeeping.

Love CW and the Phoenix version. Bravo!

I will just say that it moves the game on in terms of my bespokes. But I still have a lot of development to do on it. I will occasionally share details by email with those who bought any of my preceding 4 bespokes

Very different on the cars, in terms of paint. This is Volcano Orange:

But in terms of the watch I am not sure as I would have compare to rosso dino in different lighting.

Thank you for the reply. I like the car....not so much the background music. And I agree about needing different lighting. From your watch pictures, the Phoenix dial color looks very close to rosso dino. But that could just be my eyes.
Very nice! Great job!

In this case, we seem to have misunderstood each other, sorry!

That's right, we've talked about this a lot before, but at the time we compared a specific blue CW dial to the Czapek Antarctique. However, this dial is not a CW step in the direction of another homage, but an all new Jas(TM) design. To be honest, I think this dial will give this watch a look that will make it very unique.
