Man, that is so sharp. The red second hand and writing on the dial just make it pop.

Yes i like this model too and would consider it if it was made into 41mm.I like the red second hand and the red date as it does make it stand out. I take it they dont make a Roulette model ?

Luke, mine (116264) has an all red date wheel. I think they are all equiped as such.
I too wish the TOG was bit bigger case wise, but all the same, really like mine. Greg |

Would anyone have more info on the various iterations of the TOG? I have a 16264 and long to see more owners and pictures of this particular model.

No wonder those bezels feel so good when they turn! I had no idea they used the spring & bearing system...

I echo those sentiments that Rolex should really make this watch in a 41mm size. It's stunning, IMO.

My first tt Rolex was a R serial Thunderbird (no Turn O Graph text on dial). Gave it to my son Xmas 2012. Bought in 1990 and first service was in 2012.

in 1958 the T-O-G looked like this. My most favorite in the collection.
A 6609 in 18K with original bracelet. I would love a red second hand ![]() |

I've just seen one of those, is it normal for the bezel to go around without clicking like on GMT or submariner?

Why they discontinued this watch, I'll never know. Folks were silly not to buy it!

Methinks it comes back. It's too historical a model not to, no? It was predecessor to Sub.

Great thread and makes me appreciate my TOG even more. My first Rolex and really glad I have one especially considering it is now discontinued! I never understood why it wasn't more popular. The watch is stunning in person.
