New Addition 16600 Tritium Sea-Dweller

OK, perhaps not a true vintage by most standards, but it's over 20 years old and is all tritium, an early W serial 16600. Took me forever to find a gloss dial SD with a perfect, matching tritium dial/hands/pearl. When I started looking I thought it wouldn't be too tough. I was wrong. There aren't many tritium SDs out there in decent shape, I discovered, especially not with patina. This one came as a full set and very little _ if any _ polish on the case.

Super nice Dweller. Love how some of the early gloss dials get a nice yellow/brown patina. My N series is turning and I love it. Vincent - that is pretty sweet example too

Beautiful SD, Vincent. And starting to fade. Nice! As prices continue to climb for matte-dial vintage Rolexes, I think these tritium gloss-dial versions will be harder and harder to find. Soon enough, they'll be true vintage, too, of course.

Thanks Aaron - I'd say the fade was well under way. It varies depending on the light, of course

Love early 16600 SD's. Tons of watch for the money.

Aaron - can we see some more photos of that stunner, please!? Very minty, and great patina.
Let's indulge in that sharp, edgy case, then...

Gorgeous.
Much better than the new SD. A perfect example why vintage is often so attractive and better option when it comes to Rolex....
