Will a WG Daytona bezel fit a SS Daytona?

Can anyone confirm if a WG Daytona bezel will fit a SS Daytona?

I'm pretty sure a topic on here had a SS Daytona were the owner had a WG bezel and dial fitted?

Actually this was the topic I was thinking but it appears the OP considered the mod but I'm not sure if he carried it out!

Only the dial and hands were swapped in the above reference thread. See post #935 here: http://rolexforums.com/showthread.ph...t=mods&page=32.

Ask as I noticed someone on forum had used the YG bezel (arrowed markers) to replace the TT bezel and that slight change to me made quite a nice visual impact!

If you want a WG Daytona, buy a WG Daytona. Switching dial, hands and bezel will cost a pretty penny but it still won't be the same as the real thing.

Mate not a case of wanting a WG look SS as I wasn't concerned in changing dials I was just interested as I much prefer the arrowed marker bezel design over the SS hash mark layout which too me looks very dated!

Switching dials is one thing but I think swapping over the bezel as well is going too far. For this money you can buy a WG on strap and have the dial and bezel you want.

Guys you are getting the wrong idea! I have no intention of dial changing I was just thinking the WG bezel looks nicer then the SS one that's it not a WG lookalike.

It will fit

Even though what I did was yellow gold they all the same diameter. The one I used comes only on an all gold model on a strap whether it's white or yellow gold so I'm sure it will fit on a SS or a SS/18k. I think its a great mod. Obviously. Lol. As far as the cost I see it as no different then spending money on a new dial.

That's what I'm talking about!

Very subtle but think just swapping the bezel from the dash markers to the arrow looks great, well done sir

I actually completely agree that the Gold Daytona bezel markings are much more attractive.

See guys!

Plan was for the WG not be too noticeable so would just look like any SS Daytona but with the better marker bezel.

Well before I get ahead of myself I actually need to pick up a Daytona

My bad, I read it too quickly and thought you were going to swap dial, hands and bezel - in that case you might go for the real thing.

And do yourself a favor - don't try on a white gold panda dial Daytona, it will ruin your 116520 experience and savings account!

If you keep an SS dial then I have no problem with the bezel swap, as for me there must be a visual clue to a WIS of what this watch truly is otherwise it's too disingenuous for me and probably for this site.

Here is what you are talkin about....

I dont like neither the weight of the gold nor the brigtness of yellow gold. Also gold rolex might attract unwanted attention.

This seems to be the best solution.

Actually i found this watch like this with a very reasonable price so i pulled the trigger.
