Throw This Dog a Bone & Here's a Piece of Rawhide

While we Rolex owners are undoubtedly a heterogenous group, we also have patterns which connect. To learn more about other members, and to identify commonalities/differences, please respond to the following:

(1) What type of work do you do?

(2) Please list up to 3 hobbies

(3) The best/most helpful aspect of this forum has been . . .

Please feel free to add any other information you'd like.

I'll start the ball rolling . . .

(1) Psych/health care; (2) Reading, enjoying the company of close friends, working out; (3) I am grateful for this forum because I've received wonderful advice that will hold me in good stead with future purchases/potential issues. I am also very fond of many members who, on a continuing basis, unselfishly share their knowledge/resources, and in so doing, educate the rest of us.

I´m in the industry, top level management.

Sex, good living ( excellent food, good beer, fine wines ), travelling.

The WORST thing about TRFs:

it DIRECTLY leads to another Rolex, and another one, and another ...

1) Head of Science in a UK secondary school.

2) Fixing cars/driving, walking, photography and watches.

3)When I am hooked on anything I like to get hold of lots of information. Consequently, TRF seems the ideal Rolex place to be!

1 - Hotel Concierge

2 - Dirty girls, travelling and online roleplaying games.

3 - I hate TRF because Ive bought 3 rollies in 3 months since my first post, before I knew TRF I had only a IWC. However this is the best forum regarding rolex information and there are tons of ppl here who have so great knowledge about this particular brand. :-D

President of a construction company.......hobbies are collecting old gas and oil advertising such as porcelain signs and original neon advertising clocks, surfing this forum, and my job. This forum has taught me so much about Rolex's that I cant get enough of it. It has made me aware that these things are machines and are quite a work of art. I really enjoy spending the evening reading the posts and sipping on a nice scotch

First, I went back, looked at my post (it didn't look right) and I realized I left an "e" out of heterogeneous. Hopefully, this faux pas isn't punishable by federal imprisonment. I was also remiss in failing to mention that two other guilty pleasures I have include watching HBO's True Blood and dancing in supermarket aisles while shopping if good music comes on. (So far, I don't think anyone's caught me and I'd like to keep it that way!) I like to think of this as innocuous "acting out."

Retired. Golfing, traveling, and watching my nest egg go down the toilet along with the rest of the economy. Most everyone on here seems to be genuinely decent and willing to help each other learn about/acquire these little overpriced marvels of watchmaking!
