I remember the jewel wars in the 60s-70s watches boasting 100
jewels plus.Only 17 in the movement the rest just useless decoration.A bit like toubillions in wrist watches today,over priced.And in reality of little use in wrist watches,other than the watchmaker can make them.More expensive,bigger, or larger is not always better,although the marketeers would like you to believe so.
