Is this the ultimate Royal oak? Skeleton Turb

Would you choose this over any other AP if money was no object and they were available?

As a gift, this one. If I'm paying, 15416CE (and 16202BA and a couple of bags for the wife with the change).

185kCHF? 188kCHF? I asked but didn't really memorize - above what I'd spend on a single watch, in any case.

Picking one 'ultimate' RO among such heavy hitters is like trying to decide who is the ultimate tennis player in their primes - Federer, Nadal, or Djokovic.

Although...I suppose Sunday says Nadal..so I say perpetual open worked ceramic is ultimate. But this one can take 2nd or 3rd.

Don't worry, they'll make more next year.

This one will definitely be worth the wait.

Hopefully I can see it live sooner rather than later.

Here is great video of this model... and I have same feeling like the first time I saw live photos. They needed to make a combination of polished and sanblasted parts to add more depth and contrast...

I think it’s absolutely awesome. The ultimate? Maybe. Didn’t they recently come out with a ceramic flying tourbillon? I saw Watch Eric post about it.

I feel like once you get to this level it’s hard to say if one is better than another.

Depth I'm not sure, but clearly no-one is buying this to tell the time...

You redeemed yourself with the second paragraph. Nadal is the GOAT! And that's coming from a Federer stan...

Technically it's here, it's impressive and I love the more technical feel comparing to other more artisan based RO skeletons.... but I mean that depth can be visually more noticeable by combining polished and sandblasted part... they did something like that on Codes, with addition of some color and gold details...
