Omega Warranty Experience

SMP Diver 300m purchased I believe in 2021. This Diver 300m developed an issue where the crown became stiff to turn and made a squeaking sound, as if a rubber gasket or something was wrapped around the stem.

I took the watch to an OB in Texas and they shipped it off to Seattle. After about a month, I received an SMS from the OB, "It's ready".

The watch was returned cleaned and looking pretty new. The bracelet had been polished lightly but not overly aggressive (bracelet had abrasions on it when I dropped it off and 'hints' of the abrasions remained but were substantially removed). The issue with the crown was resolved and it was working perfectly, very smoothly. Very happy with the service, watch is now perfect.

Just thought I'd share.

Glad to hear that Omega’s service/warranty is good!
Nothing more disappointing that a brand that can’t get their service/warranty right.

The Omega/Swatch warranty is pretty great. My wooden Omega box button wasn’t pressing in to hold the lid shut, and they asked for a photo of my warranty card and for my address, then shipped me a new one without any questions. It was delivered to my door in 2 days.

That’s good to know. Nobody wants to send their watch off for a month, but glad it was a smooth process. Enjoy it.
