Well both basically the same now including the movement one has the cal 3130 that's the non date, the date has the cal 3135.Which is a cal 3130 with a date complication in overall sales the date Subs are more popular.

I like the date, but the non-date is a very clean look. Let us know what you decide.

on the sub I prefer it without the date. The dial is cleaner and more symmetrical.

I've had both date and non-date, currently I have the non-date 14060m. If I did not have two other Rolex models with dates, I might have leaned more towards the date model when I got the Sub. It is hard to beat the clean look of the dial on the Sub without a date in my opinion.

The 'safest' choice would be the 116610 LN (Sub Date with black dial)

I would go for a random or G-serial 16610 or 14060M.
I am going to sell my SUBc because for my wrist it does not wear very comfortable.
(to bulky and heavy)
My 2 cents....

Date. When I wear my watch without a date, I realize how often I check it.

+1. I like Mike's thinking!

I personally prefer the date because it does come in handy at times.

Submariner date, if you have the chance in pulling a gold model instead of steel, go for it.

The watches are identical, so do you want a date or not? Its a simple question especially since money isn't an issue here.

This is only a problem if you like the look of the no-date more then the date(I like the ND). If not then buy the date!

I prefer the ND version just because it's clean looking..
But I was told that the date sub has better resell value and more sustainable as in you will tend to use it longer since it has date on it?
