Winding problem on mid size datejust
Hi guys, wife's datejust stopped, so I helped her to wind...
I felt huge resistant when winding (watch is held at flat position) it was like some gear get stuck. However when I held the watch upward (90 degree) or even turn it upside down, the winding seems normal, smooth. Something wrong? |

Yes, if you cannot easily wind the watch when held at any normal position, then something is wrong..

My sub started doing funny stuff 2 months after it was serviced by Rolex. Winding felt a bit odd and then the crown wouldn't come out far enough to set date or time. Simply impossible to pull it out far enough. It's back with Rolex now.
