Help needed to assess condition of this 16610LV

Calling all experts and detail mongers!

Please see attached pictures. Does it look good and unpolished to you? It mostly looks mint to me, if a little dirty.

It does seem like the clasp has been polished (even if seller says it hasn't) and the pearl could probably need a replacement to look completely perfect. Maybe very slight bracelet stretch. Please correct me if I am wrong - in particularly when it comes to the clasp.

Input much appreciated!

It looks reasonable, but based on the photos, I think it's seen a polish. The edges, particularly on the backside of the case appear to have lost some sharpness. I would also agree that the clasp has been refinished, as the crown is more worn that one might expect on an unpolished relatively young watch. Also, if the clasp crown wear was due to normal wear, then it would be difficult to believe that the rest of the watch is as blemish and scratch free as it is, without a polish.

On the flip side, if you think it's a reasonable buy, and it meets your expectations, I don't think that the fact it's been polished should dissuade you. Just have a close look at it/get better photos before committing to make sure the overall watch looks good to you.

By the way new green insert is 300 atRSC.I don't think they would just replace the pearl.

Thanks for the feedback

I guess I am just used to my watches, new and used, to be in pristine condition even after years of use, so I am a little picky when it comes to a slightly worn Sub. In the event I bought this watch I would therefore likely replace the clasp with a new one from a 93250.

Would buy a NOS if they hadn't become obscenely pricey lately

Thanks for chipping in.

They replace the pearl without blinking at my local AD/RSC (in Europe) and a new insert is much cheaper than that here. I also get to keep the old insert US RSCs can be a pain when it comes to parts replacement.

On the other hand the prices of watches in the US are much cheaper - so no sympathy from my end

Sorry, I am afraid I will keep that to myself. Don't want to potentially get the RSC in trouble, nor do I want them to be flooded with requests, potentially affecting their policy. Trust you understand.
