Boldr - my final Kickstarter watch

This is my 4th - and last - Kickstarter watch. Three are quartz (one Rhonda, two Seiko Mech-Quartz) and one is an automatic (Miyota).

This one is Mecha-Quartz. I like the design, size (case is similar to my Sinn 103 but with a "bubble" crystal), and the silver face with orange hands.

I've ordered a black leather rally strap with orange stitching though the included leather and silicone straps are nice.

There is that whole "distortion" thing going on due to the curved crystal. It is fairly trendy to have that but because the watch case is so curvy I think it works though seeing the tick marks is a challenge.

Even at 43mm it doesn't seem too wide but it is "tall" at 14mm so it may not go under a dress shirt. The finish is nice but I am slightly concerned about it scratching.

I paid around $185 for mine but now they're more because it's not the campaign. Since I think they're first time watch builders they did a great job.

It is a stylish watch and I like it better than the other Mecha-Quartz watch I got, the Ferro Airborne because I feel they got their case dimensions wrong.

Anyway... just a fun watch to have around.

Enjoy. I see what you mean about the fun-house mirror effect of the glass. Kind of whimsical.
