Just bought another vintage Quartz!

That's right friends, I now have a collection of (2) vintage quartz watches. First was the 1985 WG Piaget and now this beautiful oysterquartz datejust 17000.

Disapointed with the Tudor I intended to buy, I stumbled upon a 1980 (the year I was born) oysterquartz with a beautiful black dial and in a decent condition. I instantly fell in love with the bracelet and after a phone call with friend, I pulled the trigger.

Very nice those quartz Rolex watches are built like tanks and will last a plenty long time.

Your right - the bracelet on the OQ (17000 at least) is a very heavy, proper solid link affair. One of the best Rolex has ever made IMO.
