I think a newer bracelet with a vintage watch is a great compromise, you have the security and at the same time not interfering with the watch itself.

This watch is gaining 5 seconds per hour........so I think it needs a service.

UPS man just delivered mine back to me after being at Bob Ridley's place for a cleaning, crystal replacement and a few other odds and ends replaced.

I'm stunned with the condition of the watch, it looks brand new.



Oh yea, Bob needed LESS THAN A WEEK to do all this. I highly recommend him if you need any work done on yours.

My 5512 is still getting a service so a good excuse to keep this Glushutte on over the weekend. These were issued to the Luftwaffe pilots in the second world war and are pretty rare. I found it here last January and it has been away getting restored in Germany for the last six months and only came back on Thursday. I rate it second only to my PCG 5512, a great find
