How about a Rolex white dial only thread?
Datejusts, Day-dates, Explorers etc - let's see them with white dial!

Some great pictures here. There are some YG DDII White Romans on TRF that I love, plus an amazing picture of a YG White Daytona - I hope the owner posts that picture, beautiful.

Here are the two most recent (of which I only have one left): The Air-King 114200, that I got when it was released: I saw it as an opportunity to own a white dialled Explorer I. I enjoyed it during the summer, but could not stop being annoyed by the short hands, and it did not take long for me to stop using it for the size reason either... But it is a very nice watch with a traditional size that actually sat rather nicely on my skinny wrist: (Yes, it has hands from a DJ in the picture above. I just had to try it out, since the original hands are way too short IMHO ... and when I am now looking at that almost five years old picture I must say that the AK still feels a bit small...) This one - on the other hand - I am keeping, and it has been seen already in the thread: The white ExII (which perhaps has a more up to date size on my wrist): One of the very first with caliber 3186. It is more than four years old now, and well suited for the current weather (where I am at this moment): I use the Explorer as intended, but lately I have dressed it up a couple of times: I think the Jubilee offers a nice look: ... but it always returns to the Oyster: I wouldn't mind adding more white dialled watches... Best, A |

I actually think the Explorer Ii looks great on a Jubilee too, Anders, and your pictures are much better than my one.
