Pitterpatter is a THIEF! I lost my no-date sub.

I love this Forum, TRF is the best!

But I guess some opportunists also linger around.

This was completely my fault! NO EXCUSES

I spoke to "Brian Dean Ochaba" - PITTERPATTER - on the phone regarding my For Sale post of the No-date sub. Seemed like a pleasant "scumbag" I guess you may say.

We agreed on the price and the form of payment. Out of the stupidness of my heart, I mailed the watch without receiving payment. Yes it is my mistake, but I am a "nice" and stupid person, you may call me.

This is just my nature of been. I am sure he will put this for sale somewhere. He also uses Watchnet Id of "Brian0105" and "Lucky05" on Watchnet.

I have also learned he uses:

Brian Ockaba
Brian Dean
Deanbrian72@Yahoo.com
Azwingman@rocketmail.com
He is believed to be employed with Wingman Corporation.
Tel # - (480) 306-3320.

I believe he will get his, maybe not now but in the future....hopefully 10 fold.

All right, TRF let me HAVE IT and I will read it.

You can say - how could you....hope you learned your lesson....whatever, it may not be the last time I hear it.

But I will be a wee more careful.

BUT.....I will always be a nice guy!

SEE YOU ALL IN THE WATCHOUT SECTION WHERE I SPEND MOST OF MY TIME....

If he by any changes his mind, I will update this post (but I doubt it).

CHEERS!

I am sorry to hear that your "good faith" in people lost you your watch. I hope you recover it or get your money.

Good luck and keep us posted

Takes a lot of b@ll$ to admit this publicly. Seems like no lecture is necessary. You've identified your fault and have accepted the sad result. I'm sorry it worked out this way. Good guys will always prevail.

That sucks big time mate. I do hope you get it sorted. Get a police report filed ASAP with your local PD. If he does not resolve this, post all his details on this and every other watch forum. Keep your chin up.

Paulie knows some people who know some people that can take care of this, if ya know what I mean...

Seriously though, as badly as that sucks, you may have done just the right thing to expose this kind of ripoff. We are all sorry for your hopefully-temporary loss.

No-one will let you have it for being a nice guy. This forum is a community that should and will assist by any means possible so that con artists get their dues. I sincerely hope that things work one way or another. You have this guy's working address - so use it against him. And file a police report also.

That guy is online at this very moment. He appears to be active and posting away. One would think that if he really cared about his rep, he'd respond to this thread. Tsk, tsk.

I know how you feel man, sorry to hear that you've been scammed.

I would file a report to the local police and in the perpetrator's area.

Do you have insurance? Will USPS help in recalling the delivery?

If this was delivered by USPS, postal police can help. Best of luck.

Norman,

Once you are sure that this guy has actually stolen your watch, make sure you file a police report both locally (as that is where the sale originated) and in Chandler, AZ.

The FBI also has an internet fraud division that you need to report to.

All of this will give many teeth to your prosecution.

Remember that an IP address of a computer can be nailed down to the exact location. Especially if this guys was stupid enough to post from his home. The Admins here can probably help with that and the police can order the ISP to release that information, but again a police report / complaint for theft is paramount.

Here is a site you can determine the guy's information once you have his IP. http://www.ip2location.com/. Then go here to put in the Lat and Lon. http://atlas.mapquest.com/maps/latlong.adp. This is all public information.

The ISP can then be contacted by the authorities for a confirmed address where the fraud was initiated from.

If you will press in, you can nail this guy and we will be glad to help.

UPDATE - Brian sent me an email that I would be receiving the funds ASAP. This has not occured yet but hopefully very soon.

This has not been an easy ordeal. I am willing to wait a day or so.

Until this is over, I will remain on the sideline and provide you (hopefully) with the final update soon...

Thanks for all the support!!!!
