Writing on this old thread because I just attempted to send my watch to Michael Young per recommendations of all on this site but USPS wanted over $100 to ship International Express (3-5 days) with $3500 insurance (insurance alone was $40). Fedex will not ship without a customer number and says they only do $1000. worth of insurance and overall cost will be similar to USPS. What am I missing? Are there any good bracelet restorationists in the US? Btw, MY now charges $250 for Jubilee band tightening. Still a great deal and would love to send to him, but would like to ship cheaper if possible?
