just bizarre... the whole world is full of Rolex trained and approved watchmakers with parts accounts (just not in australia) who are authorised to buy and fit replacement parts and obviously don't leave Rolex service centre service marks in the back..... these are Rolex approved guys.. using parts supplied by Rolex with their approval... so how can a watch not be suitable for service if for example they ahd changed the dial ..... i'm just bemused ! ...
past the issue of oddness.. its an easy thing to get serviced by a couple of the good independents in melbourne .... think you've just fallen fowl of a freaky friday.--- get it servcied and go back to enjoying it !!!! |

Ok.
Model reference: 5513/0 serial number: 158xxxx Service requirement: No rolex service history. Watch has had a replacement dial fitted by a non Rolex watchmaker; unable to determine if it is all original. ( I asked for clarification on this and as stated before and they said because the dial was put in by a non rolex service centre, they cant determine if the watch is original or made from watch parts) Unable to service. |
