1st Jan Price increase happened!

Looked on website and increase has happened! £6300 for 114060 now! Looks like 7.5 percent increase across the board!

I wonder why I don’t see prices on Rolex website.
Can you share a link please.
Probably depending on the region?!

Very true! All it means is you have to pay even more of an extortionate price on the grey market if you actually want to own anything!

Tough hit for the grey market when Rolex and the ADs eat their margins. I highly doubt this will raise end cusumers will to pay for watches.

Hopefully this will mean less speculation when the market price is creeping down closer towards list. It will likely increase availability in the long run.

Good news for enthusiasts.

Wow. Do you honestly think the greys will say ‘oh that’s bad news, let’s not raise our prices and let’s just let Rolex take 7.5% off our margin overnight’?! Use your brain

I don’t think there will be buyers for that. If it was as simple as raising the prices to make more money it would have already happened. The market have been softening for some time and this will not make it hotter. Rather the opposite. Less incentive for those that queue for watches they just want to resell.

I highly doubt the second hand prices will move due to this.

I think grey markets will just follow suit and raise in accordance and people will still pay their hyper inflated joke prices in order to get a model they can’t buy at msrp! They only way they will come down is if people altogether stop buying in protest and that’s never gonna happen

Wish I have your crystal ball! The market is cycling. If someone told you in 2016 that the people will be paying a 100% premium on a GMT that you could have had at the time with the 10% discount all day long - what would you think about that? "That’s never gonna happen" - I know ..

Really just 3 years ago you could have purchased every model (LVC, BLNR, LN,etc) under msrp except the Daytona which then most though it was grossly over priced.

No grey areas to me, it's perfectly clear, the prices went up! So, did I loose less or earn more?

Similar in Japan too. Submariner 114060 ¥766,000 > ¥832,000

Just noticed the same, but the BLRO use to be $10,600. The BLNR could of been $10,400? I can't remember.

I paid $10400 for my BLRO in Nov 2018, perhaps price was 10600 last year?

6.2% increase on the SD43 in Spain, from €10,450 to €11,100. Not as steep as some other models.

Now let's see what Brexit brings and the possibility of claiming VAT back from European purchases.

Incredibly, they had that watch up at that price before the hike.

There’s been no movement on steel Subs or GMT’s yet.

I haven't been checking recently and thought they were around £10K so when I saw this I was stunned and more so if this was before the rumours last week, people keep talking about the market cooling this quarter but doesn't look like it over here.
