Do you see many Millgaus in AD window?
Never seen one before in the UK, in fact never seen anybody wearing one. My AD offered me one today. I like the look of it never tried one on said I can have it Monday if I want to so gonna go try it on.
A lot of watch people from US here wondering how common they are there? They’re trading under retail on Chrono24 which suggests to me they’re not very popular. |

It’s not that common but there is no premium. If you’re buying it with the hopes that it will increase in value you probably shouldn’t get it. But ask anyone who owns one and they’ll tell you it’s a really nice watch. It’s very eye catching.

They are very popular and hold value well compared to every other watch except a few hot flipper pieces. Sounds like you are only concerned about availability and over retail resale.

Go with the Milgauss which is a very individual watch as there is nothing else like it in the Rolex lineup.I have a zblue in my collection and sometimes I even prefer wearing more than the Daytona.Certainly a very nice watch compared to the not
so popular Airking. |

I visited three different ADs in the Atlanta, GA area. All three of them had a Milgauss in the display case.

Go for Air King. Also will look awesome on a rubber B. Very special dial, great history and story. A watch that was given to pilots who fought to save the UK from occupation. I'ts a pilot watch, Anti magnetic, etc, etc.

I use my Z Blue as more of a weekend watch generally. The Z Blue gets way more compliments than any other watch I wear by far. I'd definitely go for it rather than the Air King.

This. If you want your watch to get noticed then definitely go with the Z Blue. I get asked all the time about it. I don’t care for the attention but I love my GV. Is this the start of a collection or are you looking for just one Rolex? If it’s just one, you should be patient. Perhaps an Explorer or a Sub. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I do like my watches to get noticed definitely and I like the polished bracelet on it. I’m getting more excited about it after some of these comments to be honest.. it’s also very very different to anything I have. I have no coloured dials all black white silver etc .. |

Funny you say that I wanted the air king precisely for that reason someone posted a picture here it looked really nice on the rubberB with the green down the side.

it is a fun watch in a collection. Not good for the only one.
It's better than Airking imho

out of the two... Milgauss or Airking, I would take the AK. I dont think you need both in a collection. the Blue GV is a great looking piece though and I would own one if I didnt already have an AK... and if it didnt have that seconds hand.

You don’t often see them in Ad’s in the uk anymore and I have never seen a z blue in the window. I bought the z blue for the exact reason not many people have one, I picked it over a sub! I would recommend the Milgauss, it’s flashy but not too much and it has great wrist presence, but the air king is a nice watch also!

What I didn’t know prior purchase, and also haven’t read, is how subtle the dial becomes in the evening hours, hence the picture for you to consider Obviously daytime makes it more fun, but it’s truly wearable for the entire day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great watch. Under appreciated. One that I continue to revisit and think about adding. Buy only if it's what you truly want and for no other reason.

Here is a pic out of direct sun on a clear day. Z Blue is a watch that has to be worn to be understood, it shows so many dial/aura personalities. A flat grey day is my favourite light but have never gotten a pic that captured it well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
