My Rolex 17013 Oysterquartz is magnitized?
I had no idea my Watch was magnetized. It is still accurate. Should I demagnetize it? Or does the Quartz mechanism rely on magnetism. I was messing around with a compass with my watches and I was shocked to see my Oyterquartz was making it go crazy. Im going to order one of those cheap demagnetizers on ebay. But should I demagnetize it? Thoughts?

Quartz movement uses a tiny magnetic stepper motor that comprises a coil which creates a magnetic field.
