Went to look at the white and black dial SMP300s...

and walked out with this:

I'm currently bouncing around Switzerland and was planning to buy a watch as a memento to be able to look down at and bring up the good memories this trip has brought with hopefully more to come this week. So over the past few days I've done a lot of window shopping, tried on a few I had my eye on, added a couple to my contenders list and crossed off some others. Nothing really wowed me though.

Today I'm in Zermatt and had the most incredible day snowboarding and exploring the mountain just in awe of the beauty here. After I got back I wanted to take a look at a few more watches and hope to find the right one to cap off an amazing day. Went to one shop and tried on a Black Bay 58 which I liked a lot but it was one I wanted to sleep on and see if it was still on my mind the next day. So I decided to walk down the street to the Omega boutique with the intent to just compare the white and black dial SMP 300s that I've been curious about for awhile. Well the silver dial/blue bezel happened to be sitting right next to them and it was all I could see. I didn't need to sleep on this one it just fit my personality/style perfectly I love it!

I'm not the biggest fan of larger watches normally I never thought the watch I'd end up with this trip would be 42mm but this one doesn't feel oversized on my wrist at all and actually feels pretty perfect on me.

So yeah, pretty awesome day

The grey dial is great option. Beautiful. One of my best friends owns one as well. He loves it. And although it's a 42mm, it doesn't wear big.

Wear it in good health. Congrats.

Gorgeous watch! Congratulations! All the SM300 are nice. It would be between that and the white for me I think

I love this reference very much. I own the black dial. I like all the dials. Congrats.

Grey looks stunning on a bracelet.

I tried one on when window-shopping

There is something about that grey dial that caught my eye as well when I was last at an Omega AD...as gorgeous as it looks in pictures, it is even more stunning in person!

I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but if I decide to get a SMP300, the grey dial will be at the top of the list!

Yep it's just beautiful in person. I just had no intent other than to compare the white to the black dial and then I saw the light hitting that silver and blue in the case and put it on my wrist and saw the cartwheel luster on the dial and it was over.

Very cool! I would probably get one if I didn't have the AT in similar colors.

Congrats! That grey dial’s a beauty.

Loving mine on the rubber. What are your thoughts on the comfort of the bracelet?

It’s not the most comfortable bracelet I’ve worn it has some weight and the clasp itself is very large which isn’t the most comfortable thing but it also has the very nice adjustment feature which makes up for it. I like to wear my bracelets a bit tight compared to most which doesn’t seem to work as well with this compared to my other watches bracelets.

I love the rubber as well as that bit of stretch and twist makes for a comfortable fit! I have black dial, back rubber & am very happy with my addition - enjoy it!

That’s good to know...thanks! I didn’t like the look of it in TT, so I went with the rubber on this one, but I’d been considering it in SS.

I wear my bracelets tight as well and I am spoiled by my SD4K/SD43/LVc with glidelock in terms of comfort and adjustability.
