discounts are next to none in London. That said, whatever discount WoS would give you at any one of their many locations, they will most likely give you at their boutique also. Similarly the watch gallery discount at one of their stores would probably be similar to their boutique. Boutiques are AD's just like any other, but they just sell one brand at a boutique. In London the Boutiques are owned by the same AD's that also have multi brand stores.

Other brands own and control their boutiques directly, Rolex does not operate that way.

Specific question. Has anyone gotten a discount at the NYC boutique? Wempe operates it and they do modestly discount specifically on PM pieces.

I recently had a salesperson tell me they don't discount prior to my even asking. She took a look at my Platona and said "I see your a Rolex enthusiast just so you don't get disappointed we don't discount". While a little surprised I was appreciative of her forthrightness. She did say that she would include a winder with a purchase.

So is this just a line or do they stick to it? Please share your experiences. Thanks.

wempe in general is tougher to get a discount from. They are much more focused on customer service than heavy discounting. They are my AD in London (its not specifically a rolex boutique though). I have gotten discounts but less than i could have gotten from other locations. To me its worth it as they carry every brand i like and they get me hard to get pieces because i always buy from them.

In the US it's the same with Wempe but they will work with you (I have bought from them and find them very professional). My question is about the Rolex Boutique they operate across the street. Anyone ever gotten a discount?

Here in San Francisco, Rolex boutiques are extremely strict. They have a set price they like to adhere to. ADs are much more flexible if you are looking for a discounted price.

Rolex sell via boutiques in order to strictly control prices and that means no discounts ever.

The Houston Boutique is operated by Deutsch and Deutsch, a longtime Rolex AD with one store here and another in the Texas valley. I would suspect discounts are slim if at all and only on PM models, they get too much international traffic to need to.
Biggest and best difference of being a boutique (based on my observations here and in NY) is that they get priority in quantity and quality of shipments. I am sure the price they pay to RolexUSA to get that boutique is high.

From my experience with the local dealers boutique 0% on SS, 9% on PM. I've never bought a TT so don't know how much but there is some to be had

I overheard staff in the boutique in Brussels mentioning 5 to 10% discount on ladies watches while waiting to speak with someone. The watches with diamonds could achieve the highest discount.

I got 10% for my TT SkyD white dial at local AD (Singapore) plus several gifts for Christmas. Few other stores doesn’t discount a single dime for it. Guess I’m lucky and explained why I was grinning and running out of the store after payment.

Yes sounds about right. I think I got 30% off on my platinum day date. Who buys from these boutiques? Wealthy foreigners with too much money I guess

I was offered 10% off at an AD in italy for my SubC. I had to drive 2 hours to get it but the discount and the VAT refund made the drive worth it

I got my DJ41 in early nov from AD in portugal, he gave me 10% off the top and then I saved with taxes. Looking to get my wife tt DJ 31 from AD here in new york, and was already quote 10-12% off.

Offered 8% on any SS model in stock (slim pickings as there were only DJ, one rhodium YM).
12% on the 116621 (either brown or black dial). Was tempted on that one.

Also offered to ship to my job to save on taxes.

Seems like there is definitely a cutback on AD discounts on SS. I was offered 10% in my LVc from the same AD this past spring. Seems like a lifetime ago.

This was from years ago. There aren’t any ‘deals’ to be had. No more discounts. You’re lucky if you can get the piece you ask for within a year.

I feel Rolex prices are over-hyped. In some cases, you need to be a regular at your local AD to earn a discount chances are still slim.

I know for a fact that the Rolex Boutique in Hawaii doesn't offer any form of discounts, maybe a third party retailer like "Ben Bridge" if you're ever in the PNW for a not so popular model?
