Icon5 Where to meet watch people?

Where is the best place to meet watch people in person? Seems like there are so few watch people outside of various online forums.

It would be cool to meet other people and be able to check out various pieces in their collection as well as show mine.

See if your AD has GTG’s.
I’ve been to a couple at mine.

I’ve never been to one, but I believe they have Redbar events in Atlanta, which is like a hangout and meet other watch people type thing.

My AD holds watch events and has a watch club. Last night was "watchtober fest" and had reps from Seiko, Hamilton, Longines, Breitling and Tissot. There was approximately 300 in attendance. A lot of watch talk and questions answered. Good time for all. Good food and conversation. Of course special deals on Tudor and Tag and all the preowned watches.

At the watch club They meet once a quarter and have a topic and guest speaker along with dinner and a swap meet. This up coming meeting is GS.

Good place to meet people with similar interest.

I just chat to people. It's amazing how many are into watches.

I am so jealous. Not aware of anything like this here in CT. Hopefully there is and I'm just not aware of it so far. Would be great to meet like-minded people.

I've been to a few trunk shows but they were mostly jewelry. I've had a few nice convos at ADs. When I wear my Reverso, people assume correctly I'm into watches.

A meetup would be nice.
