Sea Dweller 126600 or 126603 question

I have been thinking of a 43mm Sea Dweller, is it too big for 7.25 inch wrist?

I’m so easy, I roll a photo of my DSSD on my 7 inch wrist every time one of these threads pops up. Truthfully, this watch fits amazingly! No worries!!

No problem.
I have both SD, they fit great but hardly ever wear them, I much prefer the size and comfort of my Sub on my 7.25" wrist.

In my opinion, some people are not aware that the watch is too big for them. But of course there are tastes for everything.

Not too big on my 7.2 in wrist. If I had smaller wrists, I might have gone for the SD4K 116600 or the Sub41 126610.

No unless you have been stereo typed into thinking it is.

As you have stated "too big" is purely subjective. There is no right or wrong, just opinion

In my opinion there fit and feel involved.

The SD43 doesn’t fit” all the much bigger than the Submariner 124060, from a plan view. Sure it’s thicker and “chunkier” but when you look at it from overhead, they are about the same to my eye.

Feel is another matter. The SD43 will feel larger due to its girth and weight.

That’s how I reckon it

Love my 126603 and it wears very nicely on my wrist, which is the same size. I went from alternating a Daytona and a 36mm DJ so I had to get used to the size and weight, but that really took less than a week. Current Rolex bracelets are extremely comfortable.

I’m my view, yes, it’s too big on any wrist. 16600 and no cyclops for me. And that’s already a very substantial watch.

You need to try them both on…the SD43 felt too bulky for me… opted for the 126610 instead.

I had a SD43 - excellent watch but had to part with it as i could not wear it offshore on my 8 hr work shifts - i am a marine mooring master/ ship captain - so strongly suggest trying them out - THEY R SUPERB WATCHES both the references. JD

No issues on size with a 7.25 inch wrist. With the bracelet properly adjusted it is a pleasure to wear.

From head-on the SD appears to be fine on a smaller wrist. How does it look from a slight side angle showing the height of the watch?

It's not substantially thicker, but if you're used to wearing a Sub, it's noticable. The caseback protrudes a bit.

And throwing this out there,... it's not the 43mm that may cause it to fit or feel different on your wrist, but those with flatter wrists have less issues when it comes to comfortably being worn.

RULE #1: Watch lugs should never extend beyond the width of your wrist.
