Steel Datejust 31...What should I expect?
How realistic is it to get DJ 31 in specific combinations via AD? How about Wimbledon 36 (only 36 she liked)? I know 'ordering' does not happen? Or does it? Just luck of the draw based on allocation?
I have a 12series LV. Purchased at small home town AD frequented by family members that has unfortunately been dropped by RUSA in the last two years. Interested in picking up wife a DJ, currently located in PNW. Alternative is a Tudor Royal which can obviously ordered/purchased grey at 20% off, but would like to do a one and done instead of upgrading in future. Not in a rush to purchase, but the rub is specific requests. It's not like a Sub which comes in three steel varieties...Grey has all of these at 25% more on chrono24 (funny enough, Wimbledon is cheaper than the 31s). 1. Dark Grey Roman, Jubilee 31. 2. Black Roman, Jubilee 31. 3. Wimbledon, Jubilee 36. And to make things more complicated, she prefers smooth bezel with Jubilee... |

You'll have to wait for your configuration to arrive. They will take your request down and deliver in time.

Not hard at all to get a 31mm DJ from my experience. Ladies usually love it, and at the same time it's a relationship builder. MOP, rose gold two tones are awesome in my opinion. The latest floral dial with diamonds is awesome.

Thank you all for the responses. I expected an easy get for a 31 in general, but did not know whether or not "ordering" specific dial / bracelet / bezel combinations was possible.
Sounds like some dealers can order, others may not say they can, but they probably have a way to request for a future allocation... |

Exactly what he said. As long as you are ordering a DJ that’s not a new release, Rolex should approve it. My AD requires full payment up front, upon approval, and then you have to wait for it. It could still take months. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I have seen them over the past. Since you’re not in a rush, maybe a BOLO thread asking if anyone has seen one in their local market. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
