DJ41 clasp

A friend showed me his DJ41. I noticed there aren’t any micro adjustment holes on the clasp. First Rolex bracelet I’ve seen this way. Why did they do that?

They’re internal on the clasp. Can’t see them from the outside.

It’s one of nicest looking Rolex clasps, perfectly balanced

The newer bracelets do not have holes, per se, but rather indents on the inside of the clasp, where you move the adjustment pin. There are 3 positions. You use the insanely expensive special tweezers to depress the pin, on both sides simultaneously, to adjust it.

Kat, thanks for your explanation. I thought it might be something like that.

I think the watchmaking name for the indents in the inside of the clasp is detents.

You mean this? Hole or indent whatever it’s called. There are 3, one an each side. The middle one is used by mine. I don’t have insanely expensive tweezers so I leave it as it is

Or any small screwdriver you don’t need any special (expensive) tool.

It’s a lot easier, with the tweezers.
