Part exchange a Rolex Submariner
IWhat would be a fair price to part exchange a 2010 Rolex Submariner 116618 LB with the flat blue dial for a 2013/2014 Rolex Submariner 116618 LB with the sunburst dial

Maybe ask Rolex to swap the dial or buy an additional (original) one.
I think the flat dial is better because it matches the bezel and creates an optical unity. Why not have both and have it swapped by Rolex or a watchmaker? |

I know Rolex used to do that sort of thing and keep the old dial. |

I just went trough a dial change on a YG Sky-Dweller and Rolex will only put a dial on a watch that was available when the watch was manufactured. I use to have the flat blue 116618LB and liked it but when the sunburst blue came out I swapped up as I preferred that dial. The flat blue is somewhat collectable and you do not see many around in the pre-owned market. Why not contact several of our Trusted Sellers and see what it would cost to do a trade. I would think your watch and a few thousand dollars. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for the reply, yes I had the 116613 LB with the sunburst dial back in 2016 & when I purchased the 116618 LB back in August I thought it would come with the sunburst dial but unfortunately for me that wasn’t the case. Even if I could get a dial change I wouldn’t do it, I don’t want an after market dial. I will part exchange the flat blue dial for the sunburst dial, I was just curious as to what I might expect to pay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
