New Blue Side of the Moon!!

I guess you can say the Swatch marketing worked. I've always liked Omega, but didn't think anything got my heart racing. So, like many others, I got a moonSwatch (Mercury) for fun some time ago, but little did I realize the bug of owning an Omega was planted.

After going in an out of the local AD, I fell in 'like' with a lot of Speedmasters and Seamasters but kept wanting to see the 'Blue Sides' out of the case. Thanks to a visit from my brother, I decided on a 304.93.44.52.03.002. Although I would have liked getting it from the AD, as usual, @mdgrwl / https://www.watchexchangecompany.com/ offered a deal too good to pass up (this is my third watch from him in 2024).

It's overcast here today, so I couldn't get a great pic of the awesomeness of the dial, but I'm sure you guys already know.

I'm in love!

Absolutely amazing watch. I’ve got a similar one, but your aventurine dial is stunning. Congrats!

The movement is also awesome. How many watches do you know of that are automatic chronographs with stop seconds, quickset date, and quickset moonphase all from the crown with no pushers necessary?

Mine says hello.

Thanks! I was having a hard time between the two, but my brother went crazy for the aventurine dial, so that pushed me to this one. But I love them both!

Congrats it looks awesome!! I got to see this one in person when I bought my regular black dial and it’s a really special piece. Hope you enjoy it!

I mean, really no wrong choice, but you made an excellent choice. It is a very unique Omega out of all of their watches. I hope you enjoy it every time you look down at it and for years to come.

I've had this watch since 2019. Wearing it today! It's my most worn I would say and I own quite a few nice watches at this point. I bought it secondhand also and It's actually appreciated more than any of my rolexes ironically.
