Why no white tags from AD? Normal

I picked up a new Rolex DJ as a gift and was told that the white tags would not be included? It’s Rolex policy. Does this take any value from the watch.

My AD provided mine without asking. Others will have to chime in.

Got all my white tags and that was from 3 different ADs in the last year or so.

Help me. What’s the white tag? And how long did you wait for you DJ? What model?

Not all watches benefit from having the barcoded serialized tag. However there are models where having it does add to its overall collectability, especially for certain discontinued Rolex references where there are multiple dial options available.

All I want is the watch and the warranty card. The rest just takes up space.

AFAIK, keeping the WHITE rectangular tag is not a Rolex policy. It is up to the individual AD and whatever their policy is ... some keep and some will include with the sale.

I always ensure I have the white tag, the green tag, the warranty card, the instruction booklet, and the box whenever I buy a Rolex. Then I bin the watch in the trash and keep box and papers in the safe.

No, the white tag is not worth a nickel, never has been, never will be.

As it's a gift, none of the parafarnalia would reduce the value of that Rolex.

The recipient will be happy happy happy.

Per eBay it's a $25 piece.
