Still a lot of cheap money around when getting an overview from day 1. But, well, it's Geneva.
The little preview was here: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=945977 The Mondani-BLRO (126710) went for CHF 19k/USD 21k, meteorite dial (126719) CHF 48k/USD 53k. The 116598SACO, the leopard daytona, came to CHF 99K/USD 109k. A 116759SANR had a hammer price of around CHF 76K/USD 84K. More to come after day 2.

He is 79 so perhaps he thinks his kids would rather the money more than the process of selling. Ive met his daughter several times at watch shows over the years but I imagine she'd rather relax and enjoy life instead of having all those watches. But I have no clue why he is selling at this moment.
