BB54 OEM rubber strap rattles?

Just recently changed to OEM rubber strap, immediately i can hear rattling of the endlinks during hand movements. The spring bars used are thinner than the ones for the bracelet, i assume this would allow slight movement of the endlinks thus the rattle. Would i be correct?

I would say that you’re correct in your assessment.

Welcome to TRF.

Hi there, can't help but would hope you can share some pictures of the watch?

Am keen on the watch, especially on the rubber strap.

How does the strap feel? Is it stiff?

Did you re-use the end links from the bracelet?

I picked up the OEM rubber the other day and reused the bracelet end links and experience the same rattling like you.
Plus, there are occasions when the end links actually come out of place.

Went to RSC and they confirmed that I need to order new end links as the rubber uses different ones.

Well, that sounds odd. If it needs different end links, why aren’t they selling them with the strap?
