78790A clasp/end link code
Just picked up a NOS 78790A with solid end links and had a question regarding mismatched clasp and end link codes. The clasp is stamped CP12 and the inside of the endlinks are stamped K6V. I was under the impression that end links should have the same code as the clasp?

End links are totally different from clasp codes.

The CP12 could likely be the last month in 2011 while the K6V a random code introduced in 2010. This would put both parts in the same build-date window which has always been within a year or so, code wise.
