Good online store?: Prestige Time?

Hi all,

I am planning to buy my first decent watch.

I live in Australia, and with the current exchange rates, our watch prices are dreadfully high - a base Rolex Airking costs about $5500 USD in Sydney (under current exchange rates).

I have my eyes set on a IWC Portofino - a simple dress watch. I have been referred to PrestigeTime where I could possibly save $2000-$3000:

So is prestigetime a reputable dealer? Has anyone dealt with them (internationally)?

And also, what do you think about the Portofino? I would of preferred a IWC Portuguese but for my limited budget.

Another option is to get a Rolex Airking, but I was unable to find decent online sellers that would send to Australia. Any suggestions?

Cheers guys, thanks!

Rees.

The best thing to do is look around.

I don't know about Prestige Time to say.

Go to watchnet.com, under deal watch, post your request for Prestige.com references. You will get replies there as well.

A quick search of 'prestigetime' at watchnet under 'dealwatch' section yields this result. You can do more due diligence.
