Rolex Clasp authentic?
Can anyone tell me if this clasp is authentic Ive goggled it and viewed may pictures and still undecided. Numbers are 6248-19 M12

can some really elaborate as why? just saying its bogus gives no one a reason and thus offers myself or anyone else that would love some more education on the matter the reasons why its bogus, fake or junk
no offense but if you can not tell the reasons why this item is not authentic then please dont just say its fake, tell the OP and myself WHY? WHY is it fake, what is wrong etc....be helpful what i saw that i wondered about was the ref number on the band, not seen one with a dashed ref # also the stamping of the reg. swiss made.....etc but like i said , i would like to know why this is FAKE? |

The other thing that sticks out to me is the size of the pivot rivet in clasp extension. It appears much thicker than the one on my 93150 Sub bracelet.

The scroll work is the big giveaway but the markings M12 (1988ish date) and 6248 are also the most common stampings on fakes.
