Just noticed...

Some subs have the thread on the lips (not sure if that's the right terminology)...Take for instance my sub below and Molex's right below JJ's...

Can someone tell me why is this? Does it have to do with the date models or what?

Thanks,

Junior

Sorry, Junior, your post and question are not quite clear? What thread are you talking about? Besides, I don't see any picture of my watch?

Please clarify so we can help you.

Thanks - JJ

I think you are talking about the bezel? If that is the case, they do tend to dull down over time, but not sure of any other differences, hope this is some help, but also a bit confused.

Hey Jr.,

I think it's the word "lips" that is confusing us. Not sure what exactly you mean 'cause the pictures don't tell us anything.

Hopefully, someone else can catch on to what you are trying to convey.

Cheers - JJ

Haha ok...The top sub has no screws or threading on the sides whereas the bottom sub does...Why is this?

Ah ah....correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're referring to the lug holes on the side of the lugs ("lips" as you erroneously called them). Is that right?

If so, then the sports range starting from the late Y-series were produced without the lug holes...notice absence of holes on the sides of these two!

*In an Eddie Murphy voice* Black people look at JJ and say, "Man, that's some big-ass lips!".
