Sub & OQ & DD IMHO and you will have an awesome balance.

If you are a collector then the collection is likely never complete.

Even if you had every watch you ever wanted you would likely start to replace watches with better versions of the same watch (ie with box and papers, less marked up, a more attractive movement, etc.).

I am new to this but I love the learning and the pursuit. Enjoy it as a great hobby.

Thanks guys! This is a lot of information to process. My next purchase will either be a DJII or Explorer II. Thanks for all the opinions!

Your collection is complete when you are here in TRF, perusing the classifieds and you no longer see anything you "must have" and it does not bother you....in fact you decide to your self that you are "content"

You'll need a different look. Go Milgauss.

A collection is never complete. It is definitely gluttonous. IMHO I think a DD and Daytona would fatten up your collection nicely.

Every serious watch collection must contain an Omega Speedmaster Professional. No other watch has it's history and mystery.

I like omega. I just am unsure if I can pul the trigger on it. When you feel a Rolex compared to a Omega IMHO I feel like the craftsmanship is greater on the rolex. I do love the look of a speedmaster

A great collection should cover several bases.

1. A Diver
2. A GMT for travel
3. A Chronograph
4. A Gold watch
5. A Fun watch

Yacht-Master is my favorite Rolex. The YM has the same case and trip lock as the sub, and supposedly can go 300 meters under water as well, but is more dressy.

Brand variety is a must, and so is the Omega Speedmaster as already stated.

What collection would be complete with either a Sub or a DJ. Actually if we're talking about a collection you'll need one of each.
