Polished centre links on SD.

Has anyone done it and do you have any pics, I was wondering what it would look like on the SD.

I know have seen pix online of polished bracelet links by people who did it themselves, and by watchmakers, and the result is always the same... a little grainy. I had my watchmaker polish the link on my TAG Kirium, and while the surface is polished, upon close examination, there is some grainyness there.

IMO the SD is the ultimate tool watch and looks out of place with polished center links, but hey, it's your watch and you can do with it as you please.

Thanks guys, I think you are both right, having seen the pics it looks a little too bling for me and it doesn't really suit the SD.
That has put that idea out of my head.

I considered it for my ExpII a couple years back and decided to keep the toolwatch-ed-ness of the watch the way it was designed. However, having just put my ExpII on a strap, you could always get a robust Italian rubber strap, or a tough, kevlar strap to change up the look.

I might try that, now I know what to ask Santa for.
