Need help for RL1680
My RL 1680 is run fast 1 minute/day.
Does any one know the place can reset or cleaning movement around chicago area. I wont to spend $650 at RSC. Pls let me know. Thanks |

If you look at the thread below, there is a watchmaker on the list in the Chicago area. YOu can check them out.

It sounds like it needs a service. If the seller didn't say it was recently serviced, then it likely hasn't been serviced recently. Sometimes even if the seller said it was serviced it might have only been cleaned and oiled and adjusted. I typically get my watches serviced when I acquire them if they are pre-owned.
Send it to Rik Dietel in Fla. His service costs start well less than the $650

Iti was service yesterday in Thailand cost only $100.
The watchmaker say the problem is from balance wheel&balance spring. Now it's +,- 3sec/day |
